Ohio Fall Festivals 2022 - Explore Ohio - Cutler Real Estate

Hartville Marketplace & Flea Market Fall Arts & Crafts Festival

The fun begins at Hartville Marketplace for the 17th Annual Fall Arts & Crafts Festival, which takes place on September 24 from 9 am to 4 pm. This family-friendly festival is filled with art, crafts, great food, live entertainment, and fun activities for all ages. Spend your day uncovering unique finds from more than 200 crafts vendors, enjoy various seasonal activities, or watch the kids have a great time playing on outdoor inflatables. Start your holiday shopping early with crafty gifts, or find the perfect piece to decorate your home.

Cleveland Oktoberfest 2022

The highly anticipated annual Cleveland Oktoberfest will occur at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds and Event Center from September 2-5, 2022. It's one of the best ways to enjoy Labor Day weekend in the city, with everything from wiener dog races to strongman competitions. Of course, there will be plenty of great beer, traditional German cuisine, and fantastic live music to enjoy all weekend long. Discover the latest beers from the best microbreweries in the Cleveland area, then cast your vote to help crown a Cleveland Oktoberfest champion.

Apple Butter & Cider Weekend

8800 Euclid Chardon Rd., Kirtland, OH 44094

Fall is a great time to celebrate the harvest of the season, so it would be hard to pick a better time for the Apple Butter & Cider Weekend at Lake Metroparks Farmpark in Kirtland. This event takes place on October 1-2, 2022, from 9 AM through 5 PM. Learn all about how apple butter and apple cider are produced, watch traditional harvest activities, then sample the delicious dishes that result from the process. There will also be a variety of seasonal activities, highlighted by the three-acre Johnny Appleseed Trail corn maze.

2022 Ohio Pawpaw Festival

The 24th Annual Ohio Pawpaw Festival is a celebration of the pawpaw, North America's largest native tree fruit, taking place on September 16-18, 2022, around Lake Snowden. You will have the opportunity to sample meals that highlight the great flavor of the pawpaw, peruse pawpaw-related works of art, and enjoy tons of family-friendly activities while you explore. Enjoy live music from some of Ohio's best bands all weekend long, and be sure to check out the Kids Central area, which features plenty of fun, hands-on activities for younger visitors. Interested in the agricultural side of pawpaws? This festival also features educational panels on growing, cooking, medicinal use, sustainability, and even the genetics of the pawpaw.

Mohican Bluegrass Festival

Head to the scenic Mohican Wilderness campground for a weekend of live music and fun activities for the whole family September 15-17. The 31st Annual Mohican Bluegrass Festival features three days of live music spread across multiple stages, tons of great food from local vendors, and fun crafts from local artisans. Reserve a campsite in advance, and turn the festival into a weekend-long family vacation.

Ohio Sauerkraut Festival

Historic Main Street, Waynesville, OH 45068

The annual Ohio Sauerkraut Festival is always one of the biggest events of the year in Waynesville, and this year's event will be no exception. The festival takes place on October 8-9, 2022, with booths, vendors, food, drink, and activities all along Historic Main Street in Waynesville. You can try sauerkraut prepared in nearly every way imaginable, including the famous sauerkraut pizza, which tastes much better than it sounds. In addition to providing fun activities for the community, this event serves as a major fundraiser for local non-profit organizations. It even raises money for scholarships given to local graduating high school seniors.

Ohio Renaissance Festival

Take thyself back to another era when you visit the Ohio Renaissance Festival, which will be open every weekend from September 3 through October 30, 2022. Experience a real-life recreation of a renaissance-era, 16th-century village filled with the sights, sounds, and flavors you've read about in the history books. The village will be filled with unique shops, live shows, fun activities for kids, delicious food, and games for all ages. There will be themed weekends throughout the event, like Fantasy Weekend, Pirates Weekend, Romance Weekend, and Tricks or Treats Weekend, so check the schedule to find the perfect weekend to visit the Ohio Renaissance Festival.

Cincinnati Coffee Festival

Coffee lovers from around Ohio and beyond will meet up for the annual Cincinnati Coffee Festival on October 22-23, 2022. It's the largest coffee festival in the Midwest, with roasters, coffee shops, bakers, and chocolatiers coming together to create a weekend that your taste buds definitely won't want to miss. The event features delicious samples, live entertainment, coffee art, demos related to all things coffee, fun competitions, and plenty of surprises along the way. Celebrate the Fourth of July - Northeast Ohio - Cutler Real Estate

Summer weather, fantastic food, family fun, and fabulous fireworks can only mean one thing in Northeast Ohio. It's time to celebrate the 4th of July, and, as always, communities across Northeast Ohio will be pulling out all of the stops to celebrate this special day. You're sure to find a great place to celebrate July 4th close to home, and many local events include so much to see that they're spread across multiple days. Get ready to celebrate Independence Day with these eight amazing July 4th events around Northeast Ohio.

Bay Days 2022 Festival

Cahoon Memorial Park East – 27134 Lake Rd., Bay Village, OH 44140

The fun starts early in Bay Village, with the Bay Days 2022 Festival kicking off on June 30 and lasting all the way until the big day on July 4. There will be live music from a different band every night at the park gazebo, along with a Classic Car Cruise-In with live DJ, a Vintage Baseball Game featuring two local club teams, and a Children's Bike, Trike & Wagon Parade. Throughout the festival, attendees can also enjoy carnival rides, delicious food from local vendors, and informative booths from community organizations. It's all capped off by the Gala Fireworks Display, which takes place after dark on the 4th of July.

Avon Lake Independence Day Celebration, Concert & Fireworks

Weiss Field – 33401 Webber Rd., Avon Lake, OH 44102

The Avon Lake Independence Day Celebration, Concert & Fireworks begins at 5:30 pm on Friday, July 1 and lasts until the fireworks light up the sky late in the evening. In between, you'll enjoy an on-stage Independence Day Celebration, along with live performances from Anne E. Dechant, Seeing Scarlet, and a Dave Matthews Tribute Band. Some of your favorite local food trucks will be there all evening to provide outstanding meals, with Jones Bones BBQ, Off the Griddle, Fired Up Tacos, Cathy's Cle & Kona Ice, and Kountry Krunchins among the food trucks set to appear at the celebration.

Valley City 4th of July Parade, Car Show, Music, & Fireworks

Mill Stream Park – 1200 Maple St., Valley City, OH 44280

For a full day of fun on the 4th of July, try a trip to the Valley City 4th of July Parade, Car Show, Music & Fireworks celebration at Mill Stream Park. Begin your day with the 4th of July Parade, which travels down State Route 303, West River, School Street, and Maple Street before ending at Mill Stream Park. Then stick around at the park for the Classic Car Show in the afternoon while enjoying some great concessions for lunch. The evening features a live performance from Soundcheck, followed by a wonderful fireworks display after dusk.

North Canton Community Celebration & Fireworks Display

Hoover High School – 525 7th St. NE, North Canton, OH 44720

Held on the large lawn in front of Hoover High School, the North Canton Community Celebration & Fireworks Display is packed with fun for the whole family. It all starts at 5:30 PM when the food vendors, face painting stations, and children's activities open for the evening. The Scenic Route will be taking the stage a bit later in the evening, playing all of the hits from the past five decades in a free outdoor concert. Of course, you won't want to miss the fireworks display, which takes place shortly after the band leaves the stage.

Aurora July 4th Fun Run, Parade, Festival & Fireworks

Bicentennial Park – 115 E. Pioneer Trail, Aurora, OH 44202

Looking for a healthy, fun way to start your July 4th celebrations? The Aurora July 4th Fun Run, Parade, Festival & Fireworks starts early in the morning with a 5k fun run with awards for the top three finishers in every age bracket from kids to seniors. The July 4th Parade starts after the fun run is complete, followed by the Festival & Grand Marshall Celebration, which lasts all afternoon into the evening, and the fireworks display, which kicks off after dusk.

New Philadelphia First Town Days Festival, Parade & Fireworks

Tuscora Park – 161 Tuscora Ave. NW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663

One of Northeast Ohio's largest July 4th celebrations takes place in New Philadelphia, where the 45th annual First Town Days Festival, Parade & Fireworks features five days packed with events from morning through evening. Whether you're interested in a Fishing Derby, Frog Jumping Contest, Turtle Races, Wiffleball Tournament, or some more conventional Independence Day fun, you're sure to find it during this festival. Events take place throughout New Philadelphia, with many of the biggest attractions being located at Tuscora Park.

Orrville Fire in the Sky 4th of July Celebration

Orr Park – 440 N. Elm St., Orrville, OH 44667

The Orrville Fire in the Sky 4th of July Celebration is part carnival, part softball tournament, and all family fun. The softball tournament is a major attraction, with three days of games at Orr Park to crown a champion. While the tournament is happening, visitors of all ages can enjoy a free carnival featuring food, carnival games, and rides that the kids are sure to love. It all wraps up on the evening of July 3 with one of the biggest fireworks displays in Northeast Ohio.

Akron Rib, White & Blue Festival

Lock 3 – 200 S. Main St., Akron, OH 44308

Always one of the most anticipated events of the summer in Akron, the Rib, White & Blue Festival is a four-day event focused on fantastic food and live music. There will be a free concert during every night of the festival at Lock 3 in downtown Akron, with Monica Robbins & The Whiskey Kings, Bruce in the USA, Georgia Players Guild Best of Queen, and Creedence Relived all taking the stage on separate nights. The fireworks in Akron take place after the conclusion of the Rubberducks game on July 4, and Lock 3 offers great views of the display.

Summer in Cleveland is a magical thing — what with the booming sports season (go Indians!), shaded patios where you can enjoy the best of the diverse food scene, and plenty of fun lakefront activities on the shores of Lake Erie. There are hundreds of ways you could spend your Cleveland summer, but one of our favorite things about the season is all of the incredible festivals around town! To help you get started on planning your itinerary, we rounded up 17 of our most anticipated festivals this season. No matter what you're into — art, music and even garlic — there's a summer event just for you on this list!

Crafted Fest

When: June 1 Where: Lincoln Park Cleveland offers some of the best food, beer and music around so why not enjoy them all at once at Crafted Fest this summer? At this Ohio festival, you can savor artisanal dishes from creative Cleveland restaurants; explore the craft beer community by sampling brews from local breweries; and rock out to some amazing music from local bands!

Parade the Circle

When: June 8 Where: Circle Village For over 30 years, the Cleveland Museum has been bringing this free summer event to the Greater Cleveland area. During this festival, guests from all over the world will join local artists, families, schools and community groups in an incredible parade of bright costumes, giant puppets, stilt dancers, colorful floats and more!

Duck Tape Festival

When: June 13-15 Where: Veterans Memorial Park Get creative at this annual free festival presented by the Duck brand. Strut a Duck tape masterpiece down the runway at the Duck Tape Fashion Show, build a float for the parade, or simply spend the day enjoying food and goods from local vendors. No matter what you decide to do, you're definitely in for a wacky show!

Larchmere PorchFest

When: June 15 Where: Larchmere Boulevard Come out to Larchmere Boulevard this summer for a unique festival featuring 30 local bands performing on 30 porches throughout the neighborhood! This family-friendly event will feature bands from all different genres so there's a little something for everyone. Don't forget to pick up a map from the information tent and bring some sunscreen and a chair with you when you go!

Great Lakes Burning River Fest

When: June 21-22 Where: The Historic Coast Guard Station  

Returning for its 18th year, the Great Lakes Burning River Fest is here once again to bring incredible live music, great craft beer and delicious food to the Cleveland waterfront. This year, the event will feature an impressive selection of craft brews from Great Lakes Brewery along with some live performances from plenty of remarkable bands.

Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland

When: June 27-29 Where: Playhouse Square Cleveland might be known as the rock and roll capital, but we also happen to have some of the best jazz in the nation! The Tri-C JazzFest is even recognized as one of the most diverse jazz festivals in the country — and it's right here in Cleveland. Visit to watch the best jazz vocalists and instrumentalists around (past performances include Ella Fitzgerald, Sun Ra and Miles Davis!) along with some up-and-coming and established R&B, soul, blues and gospel acts.

Waterloo Arts Fest

When: June 29 Where: Waterloo Arts & Entertainment District The 17th annual Waterloo Arts Festival will welcome over 40 local bands to the stage this year, along with plenty of local art vendors and some of Cleveland's best food trucks for you to enjoy. There will also be several interactive art experiences for all ages, so roll up your sleeves and get a little dirty, all while supporting this creative and unique community!

Tall Ships Festival

When: July 11-14 Where: Downtown Cleveland's Lakefront Cleveland Summer Festivals This four-day waterfront festival offers plenty of opportunities to experience live entertainment, historical exhibits, food, beverages and explore the Tall Ships themselves! The event kicks off with a Parade of Sail on Thursday evening, featuring a display of ten sailing vessels. So, "seas" the day and get your tickets to this family-friendly event today!

Cain Park Arts Festival

When: July 12-14 Where: Cain Park Spend a beautiful summer day perusing some fantastic art from local and national creators! At the Cain Park Arts Festival, explore arts and fine crafts and supporting small businesses from all over the country. This three-day festival held in the beautiful and artistic Cain Park is one you don't want to miss, so get your tickets here!

The Cleveland Flea

When: July 13-14 Where: 3615 Superior Avenue Cleveland Summer Festivals

This isn't your traditional flea market! The Cleveland Flea is one of Ohio's most popular markets where you can experience creativity at its finest. Shop from talented artists and vendors, sample delicious treats from local makers, or settle in with a cold, refreshing craft beer — it's entirely up to you!

The Great Lakes Medieval Faire and Marketplace

When: Saturdays and Sundays, July 13-August 18 Where: 3033 Ohio 534, Rock Creek Travel back in time to a different age at the Great Lakes Medieval Faire and Marketplace! At this unique festival, you can enjoy countless activities in the Shire of Avaloch, including shopping for treasures, watching crafter demonstrations and trying your hand at activities like archery and axe-throwing. Cleveland Irish Cultural Festival

When: July 19-21 Where: Berea Fairgrounds Celebrate the rich history and traditions of the Irish at this family-friendly, non-profit festival this summer! With live music, Celtic dancers, delicious food, Irish exhibits, workshops and even a coffee house, you won't run out of things to do all weekend. Plus, proceeds from the event go to local and national charities so you can have fun all while supporting those in need!

Vintage Ohio Wine Festival

When: August 2-3 Where: Lake Metroparks Farmpark Cleveland Summer Festivals Celebrating its 25th year in 2019, the Vintage Ohio Wine Festival is the premier food and wine event of the entire year! Stroll through colorful tents, picnic tables and groves of tall oak trees while sampling wines from Ohio wineries. There will also be a great deal of delicious food, cooking demonstrations, live music, shopping opportunities and spectacular Friday night fireworks!

Feast of the Assumption

When: August 15-18 Where: Little Italy "The Feast" is one of our favorite events of the year and one of the most popular festivals in Cleveland! This four-day Catholic street festival originated in 1898 and surrounds the famed Holy Rosary Church on Mayfield Road, but you definitely don't have to be Catholic to enjoy the festivities. This event also celebrates Cleveland's Italian heritage with live musical performances, interactive exhibits, carnival rides and plenty of food from local restaurants!

The Flats Festival of the Arts

When: August 17-18 Where: 1055 Old River Road The Flats Festival of the Arts is back again for its 4th year! Enjoy a weekend full of unique art and craftsmanship from local and national creators all featured throughout the Flats East Bank. Not only will you get to experience some incredible art, but you can also settle in and watch performances from many of the regions most talented musicians and dancers.

The Cleveland Garlic Festival

When: August 24-25 Where: Shaker Square Cleveland Summer Festivals

At the Cleveland Garlic Festival, enjoy delicious garlic-laden food along with Top Chef Grill Offs, the crowning of Miss Garlic 2019, live music, a bungee trampoline, garlic ice cream and so much more (including Garlic Man himself!).

Cleveland Oktoberfest 2019

When: August 30-September 2 Where: Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds Head out to the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds this summer for one of the country's fastest growing and most authentic German festivals! At Cleveland Oktoberfest, enjoy live entertainment, plenty of German cuisine, fun costumes, and, of course, beer!
