Go Shopping

You can't stop by Findlay Market without coming out with bags and bags of fresh produce, baked goods and meat! No matter what you're looking for, there's a vendor selling it at this massive farmers market — but remember, certain vendors keep different hours so, if you're after something specific, make sure to check that they are open before heading over.

Brad and Karen Monzel Hughs took the idea of "retirement" as an opportunity for a new adventure. They took their love of cooking and design and created Artichoke, a curated cookware collection. Their Findlay Market shop specializes in high-quality cookware that includes anything from unique gadgets and cutlery to pots and pans.

Nature's Gifts

Nature's Gifts is a must-visit destination for handcrafted herbal soaps and body care products inspired by nature and created using all-natural and eco-friendly resources. Owners Jand and mark Staubitz have been merchants at Findlay Market for over 14 years, selling potted herbs in the spring and original, handcrafted flower boxes and cut flowers during the growing season.

Pet Wants

Pet Wants is a pet food and supply store dedicated to the urban pet owner. They offer high quality, balanced pet food that is made right here in Ohio and never housed in a warehouse. You don't even have to get out of your car because they offer curbside pickup! So, pack up your pup and pay a Pet Wants visit (there might even be a free treat waiting for them).

Blue Oven is a bakery located on a small family farm on the banks of the East Fork of the Little Miami River. Using their homegrown ingredients, they craft breads and other specialty goods, baked in a wood-fired blue stone oven.

Beer & Wine

Market Wines

Market Wines owner Michael Maxwell has been hooked on wine since he was in college, working part-time at a liquor store. Fourteen years later, his shop is one of the most popular stops in Findlay Market with over 500 wines and an assortment of beer from all over the world. Stop by on a Saturday or Sunday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. for their weekly wine tasting!

Cheese & Dairy

J.E. Gibbs Cheese

J.E. Gibbs Cheese and Sausage opened at Findlay Market in 1922 as a butter and egg stand. Today, while they still sell butter and eggs, they are also known for their lunchmeat, cheese, sausage, natural peanut butter, Amish jams, handmade noodles and dozens of flavors of fudge. This fifth generation business is a must-try in the market that will have you coming back again and again.

The Rhined

Findlay Market This cheese shop focuses on the best domestic artisan cheese they can get their hands on. Here, you can expect to find retail cheese along with all of the accompaniments to create the perfect cheese board. The Rhined even offers a regularly rotating selection of cheese flights that you can enjoy in the shop!

Silverglade's

Silverglade's has been a Findlay Market staple since 1922, providing fresh bread, olives, pickles and an amazing selection of cheese to Cincinnati locals. And, don't miss their massive selection of incredible deli meats, coffee beans, handmade pasta, condiments and candies. The Cincinnati Enquirer has named the Silverglade family one of the most significant contributors to the Cincinnati food scene and you can experience their legacy at their Findlay Market location or at one of their shops throughout the city.

Fresh Seafood

Luken's Poultry, Fish & Seafood

While you're at the market, be sure to pick up some fresh fish or shrimp at Luken's Poultry, Fish & Seafood! Owner Mike Luken has been at Findlay Market since he was in high school, working part-time at Trefzger's Fih and Poultry stand. He went on to purchase that business and turn it into the incredible seafood destination it is today.

Heist Fish & Poultry

Tim and Barb Heist or the proud owners of Heist Fish & Poultry, a business that dates back to 1880. Their shipments of fresh seafood arrive daily and they offer a wide variety of specialty products like alligator, frog legs, crawfish, squid, pheasant and quail along with normal seafood and poultry staples. Even if you aren't in the market for fresh seafood, you should still stop by the store to experience the history of this nearly 140-year-old business.

Meat & Poultry

Eckerlin Meats

Findlay Market When Findlay Market opened for business in 1855, Eckerlin Meats was there. Today, owner Bob Lillis is the fourth generation to run the business and is continuing the legacy his great-grandfather created over a century ago. They offer high-quality meats that are shipped all over the United States, but it's their goetta that is the real star of the show, with 300-500 pounds of the mixture of pork, beef, oatmeal, onions and spices sold every week.

Grassroots Farm & Foods

Grassroots Farm & Foods raises cattle, sheep, hogs and chickens on 400 acres of certified organic pasture in Hillsboro, Ohio. Their animals are never confined, living outdoors their entire lives. They offer 100% grass-fed beef and lamb; pastured pork, chicken and eggs; along with prepared foods made in small batches like Bolognese sauce, pork ragout, beef barbacoa and more!

Mackie Quality Meats

Mackie's owner, Phil Leurck doesn't know why the business came so naturally to him, having started working at the stand part-time in 1996 and quickly moving up the ranks. He purchased the stand in 1999, and today, he continues to provide high-quality meats at great prices to Findlay Market shoppers. When you visit, definitely try to pick up some of their filet mignon, which is always tasty and available at an unbelievable price.

Throughout the year, the outdoor farmers' market at Findlay Market is a great place to spend your weekend! The vendors are always changing and providing locally produced goods, crafts and foods. Click here for a list of the current vendors.

Madison's at Findlay Market

It all started when Carolyn and Bryan Madison set up a folding table of local produce from their Adams County farm in 1996. Today, they're located indoors at the Findlay Market and continue to provide regulars with the best in organic and local produce.

Carriage House Farm

Carriage House Farm is a registered Ohio Century Farm located in historic North Bend, Ohio. At their stand, you'll find the freshest produce, herbs, grains and honey. If you're interested in tasting their products prepared by a gourmet chef, they'll be hosting nearly two dozen dinners over the course of three seasons this year — get your tickets here!

Specialty Groceries

Saigon Market

This Asian grocery store is the oldest of its kind in the Cincinnati area, providing everything you need to create authentic Asian dishes from the comfort of home. The shelves are stacked floor to ceiling with a thousand different products from Vietnam, Thailand, China, Japan and the Philippines along with other parts of the world like West Africa and Mexico. This famous grocery destination should definitely be on your Findlay Market itinerary.

Colonel De Gourmet Herbs & Spices

There's probably no one in Cincinnati that knows more about spices than the Colonel. Whether you're looking for a unique spice, a hard-to-find sugar, or a pre-made rub — chances are it is in one of their many jars.

Grab Something to Eat

After a full day of shopping at Findlay Market, you'll have to stop and refuel at one of the incredible restaurants in the area. Whether you're in the mood for a light snack or a massive spread, there are several delicious spots where you can fill up.

Social OTR

Social OTR is more than just a restaurant. Not only do they offer delicious dishes like Reserve Run Steak, Rabbit Agnolotti and Duck Confit, their kitchen is also fully staffed by students in the CityLink Center's Findlay Culinary Training Program! Feel good knowing that while you're enjoying an incredible meal, you're supporting the industry's future culinary pioneers.

Taste of Belgium

In 2000, Jean-Francios Flechet moved from Belgium to Cincinnati to work on his Ph.D. and began frequenting Findlay Market. After spending years perfecting a recipe that replicated the taste of the waffles he ate as a child in Belgium, he decided to test his waffles at Madison's at the market, which were an instant sensation. Today, you can try one of his famed waffles at his market stand along with tasty beer pizza, crepes, and quiches.

French Crust Café and Bistro

This French café is a little bit of Paris located in the heart of Over-the-Rhine. They serve bistro-inspired dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner that change with the seasons, using only the freshest local ingredients. Don't miss the divine French-style pastries and culinary confections available for dessert!

Dojo Gelato

If you're looking for enough gelato for a crowd, you can order custom five-liter pans of gelatos, even though they take a week to create — we promise they're worth it!

Pho Lang Thang

This upbeat Vietnamese joint is the perfect spot to chow down after a long day of shopping. Enjoy their delicious bowls of pho and banh mi sandwiches while relaxing in their urban dining room. Don't forget their popular Lang Thang coffee, roasted and brewed to create Vietnamese iced coffee (which is worth an entire visit all on its own!).
