We've reached the end of another year and while we look forward to new beginnings in 2018, we still have one more day to celebrate 2017 and send it off the right way! Make a toast to the many memories shared this year with family and friends at a local event in the city this NYE! Our New Year's Eve event guide begins with kid-friendly events during the day, continues with live concerts during the evening, and ends with more than ten late-night parties and soirees to keep you going through midnight. Gather your friends and family and paint the town red (or blue and orange)!

Happy Zoo Year December 31, 5 – 9 pm at Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden As part of the 35th annual PNC Festival of Lights, the Cincinnati Zoo is celebrating the new year with a Happy Zoo Year party. Activities include Winter Wonders by Madcap Puppets, a meet and greet with Father Time and Baby Zoo Year — all capped off with an early countdown and fireworks show beginning at 8:55 p.m.! New Year's Eve Blast at Fountain Square December 31, 6 pm – 1 am at Fountain Square

This annual celebration is a must-see for kids and kids at heart. Join thousands of fellow Cincinnatians as we dance the night away, eat tasty treats, and play a few goofy games on the Fountain Square stage every half hour. New Year's Eve Cruise December 31, 9 pm – 1 am at BB Riverboats BB Riverboats has two cruise options this New Year's Eve! Earlier in the day, the New Year's Eve Kids Cruise from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm will have live music and party favors for the whole family! Meet with beloved characters from BB Riverboats' Pirate, Princess and Super Hero cruises, enjoy a lunch buffet and participate in fun, kid-centered activities. For adults, their elegant New Year's Eve Cruise takes you on a nighttime trip down the river complete with a three-entree buffet, entertainment, a split of champagne at midnight, a late night snack buffet, and party favors.

Rumpke Mountain Boys' 2 Night New Year's Eve Ball December 30 and 31, 7 pm at 20th Century Theater This lively New Year's Eve Ball is a two night extravaganza! The Rumpke Mountain Boys is a band made up of vocals, acoustic guitar, mandolin, upright bass, banjo and dynamic special effects. Join them and special guests David Gans, Old Salt Union, The Pickin' Pear and Restless Leg String Band as they rock the 20th Century Theater on New Year's Eve and the Eve of New Year's Eve! New Year's Eve with ISWHAT?! December 31, 8 – 11:30 pm at MOTR Pub Hosted by ISWHAT?!, this MOTR event will feature performances by BioniC, Stallitix and DJ Apryl Reign. New Year's Eve Concert 2017 December 31, 8 pm – 10:30 pm at Cincinnati Music Hall If you prefer an elegant sound, buy tickets for Cincinnati Pops New Year's Eve Concert. Featuring the vintage-style vocals of jazz artist Morgan James, jazz fans and music lovers do not want to miss this! Pigeons Playing Ping Pong NYE December 31, 9 pm at Madison Theater Over the river in Covington, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will be hosting the show of the new year at Madison Theater. CincyHop is continuing this local tradition of great music and superb dancing on New Year's Eve. The annual NYE party at Rhinegeist is one you'll look forward to year after year. In the past, they've had live DJs, local food, an upstairs speakeasy, wine, cocktails and a bounty of in-house brews! Follow the brewery on Facebook for event updates. New Year's Eve at The Stretch December 31 at The Stretch Cincinnati's The Stretch is always throwing stand-out parties and New Year's Eve is no different. In past years, they've had party favors, DJ entertainment, a live Q102 broadcast to ring in the new year, a midnight champagne toast, special-edition kegs, and a donut bar from Holtman's Donut Shop!
